What type of machine do you work with?
For the frames, we produce our non-digital prints via Fuji Frontier printers. This high quality digital minilab is particularly suitable for professional work, books, portraits, and Black & White. The whites are purer and brighter, the highlights are sharper, the colours are much more pure and long lasting.
We conduct the visualization of our mounts using a ZBE Chromira and develop them with the aid of a Colenta developer with reverse osmosis circuit. The Chromira produces high quality chromogenic prints, cutting-edge colorimetric treatment in order to ensure the highest quality possible for the prints.
We put all of our top technology, craft, and knowledge in service to the quality of your photographs.
- How can I be certain that my ZEINBERG print will be of a high quality?
ZEINBERG quality is achieved through the alliance of the mastery of cutting-edge technology and traditional knowledge and skills.
ZEINBERG makes non-digital prints: a reference in the milieu of photography and among collectors, this procedure inherited from traditional non-digital photo printing is the perfect marriage between historical skills and modern digital technology. Led lights are used to expose real silver photo paper. Your print is then developed with an RA4 chemical procedure, fixed, washed, and then dried.
In addition, prior to each print, all of the photographs are manually verified by one of our ZEINBERG experts.
Your photographs also come with a two-year warranty.

Should I buy a frame for my ZEINBERG photograph?
- Photographs in the 40x50 format are delivered framed (black aluminium frame)
- Artworks in 30x45, 60x90, and 100x150 format are mounted on an aluminium plate used as a support: they are readyto be hung as they are and do not need to be framed. A framework place at the back of the artwork allows the photograph to be distanced 2cm from the wall in order to create a gallery aesthetic.
However, you may choose to add a white or black Shadowgap frame on zeinberg.com.
Are the mounted photographs protected from humidity and sunlight?
Yes, our prints are all protected from humidity and sunlight by a UV filter or by a 2mm-thick PlexiMount.
How can I maintain my ZEINBERG photograph?
- Aluminium: Clean the surface with a dry microfiber rag
- Plexi: Clean the surface with alcohol at 70° with a microfiber rag

- Am I able to retract after placing an order?
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that for the artworks from the ZEINBERG photography laboratory, as well as for artworks whose dimensions, kits, finishes, or arrangement of details are freely chosen, any right of retraction is excluded, since the products are made according to your specifications or made to measure in accordance with your personal needs.

What are the different ZEINBERG prices?
What types of files does ZEINBERG accept?
ZEINBERG accepts files in JPG format but not in PNG format, since these do not take colorimetric profiles into account.
What sizes can I print my photograph in?
ZEINBERG allows you to obtain the print of your photographs in various formats ranging from 23x26 to 100x150.
On our website, when you upload your image, ZEINBERG’s in-house software will analyse it and indicate to you up to what size you can create your print.
Along with this digital verification process, we also provide you with the knowhow of our expert who will check your image again. In this way, your image is crosschecked.
- How do I prepare my file?
Preparation of Files
If a signature and a text are integrated within the image, you should ensure that the latter are found at least 1 cm from the edge, in order to avoid them being cut in production.
For JPEG: we recommend the use of “maximum quality” JPEG compression. The files can be saved in 8 bits or 16 bits.
We advise you to use:
- Adobe RGB 98
The files must not contain special characters (*, $, /, #, @, %, etc).
Only spaces and dashes ‘–’ are authorised.
The extensions must be included (.jpg, .JPEG).
Is there any risk that the ZEINBERG laboratory will publish my photograph?
No, ZEINBERG agrees not to publish your photograph and to destroy the file 12 months after the order.
Which countries does the ZEINBERG laboratory deliver to?
ZEINBERG delivers to Metropolitan France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Portugal.
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on the format of the photograph you ordered, the mode of delivery chosen and the country of delivery.
Shipping costs are on a sliding scale, according to the number of photographs purchased within a single order.

What are the delivery times?
ZEINBERG agrees to deliver your photograph within the 15 days following your order.
What are the different types of payment?
Several payment methods are available for paying your ZEINBERG order in complete safety:
- credit card, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
Are these payment systems secured?
Whatever the mode of payment used, the banking transaction is performed by PayPal.
Your banking data are encrypted (SSL, Secure Socket Layer technology). They do not circulate decoded on internet and cannot be intercepted.
Your bank data (card number, expiration date...) are also secured and not communicated to ZEINBERG.
